rolled fillet steak, marinated in herbs and garlic and stuffed with breadcrumbs

sauteed king prawns, in garlic and chilli butter and served on toasted rustic bread

pan seared scallops, with bury black pudding, crispy pancetta and a saffron butter sauce

poached pear and roquefort, with a rocket salad and balsamic dressing

 

mains

peppercorn fillet steak, a 7oz fillet with a shallot, peppercorn and brandy reduction, finished with red wine and cream, served with chumky chips and roasted vegetables

braised lamb shank, with garlic mash, roasted vegetables and a rosemary and chilli jus

whole lemon sole , with a lemon an dill hollandaise and herb buttered new potatoes

spinach and ricotta papardelle, topped with toasted pine nuts

seafood platter, (for 2 sharing) with whole lobster, dive caught scallops, mornay oysters, whole tiger prawns and fresh mussles served with creamy fettucini pasta

£45 per head including:

-half a bottle of wine per person, chablis 2006 and faustino rioja I 1996, (ratio of white to red is to be decided by the organiser)

- still and sparkling water

- decorative table sprinkles and ballons

-small birthday cake with candle (or a large chocolate fudge cake can be purchased for £30 which is suitable for parties of 15 or more)

*other drinks will come on a seperate bill

*a choice of the full dessert menu is available
